Job Title: Azure Migration Specialist

Location: Bangalore, India

Experience: 9-12 years

Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring project and product teams implement lean, robust, and secure IT service infrastructure. Partner with technology, operations, security, and compliance teams to provide guidance in line with industry best practices and corporate strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design Cloud Infrastructure services for large Azure Cloud migration, new products, and change work, in conjunction with the Cloud engineering teams.
• Design target cloud architecture and determine the Azure services and infrastructure required to support the migration.
• Provide input into governance processes to ensure appropriate technology choices.
• Communicate and justify infrastructure strategy and direction throughout the organization, especially with technical and compliance teams.
• Contribute to technical standards and templates.
• Work with client architects to develop a migration strategy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address concerns while ensuring proper configuration of cloud services.
• Plan the testing, validation, and fine-tuning of cloud services as resources are migrated to Azure.
• Use Azure Boards for project plans and tasks.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in migrations of IaaS and PaaS.
• Hands-on experience in configuring Azure Migrate tool.
• Knowledge of implementing Cloud Adoption Framework migration methodology.
• Knowledge of implementing Well-Architected Framework for the architecture/landing zone.
• Experience in driving tech architecture principles, policies, and guidelines through project deliveries and implementations.
• Excellent understanding of reference architecture.
• Hands-on experience in HA/DR practices/processes, DR testing, planning, and executing QC/UAT/Prod/DR cut-over, etc.
• Understanding and experience working with Azure public cloud services, preferably in a regulated environment.
• Azure/Infosec certification is a bonus.
• Understanding of SDLC and hands-on experience with agile ways of working.
• Experience in stakeholder management; able to push a strong change agenda.
• Good understanding and hands-on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code technologies like ARM/Bicep/Terraform.
