  • Architect and Lead: Design, architect, and oversee the implementation of cloud-native and custom development solutions that align with business goals and technology roadmaps.
  • Digital Transformation: Drive digital transformation initiatives by modernising legacy systems, automating processes, and implementing advanced data and analytics capabilities.
  • Cloud Strategy and Migration: Develop and execute cloud migration strategies, leveraging services from major providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to ensure performance, scalability, and security.
  • Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams through the software development lifecycle, adhering to agile methodologies and delivering projects on time and within scope.
  • Technical Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of developers, DevOps engineers, and QA professionals, promoting best practices in coding standards, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical guidance and thought leadership to align solutions with business objectives.
  • Innovation and Emerging Tech: Stay abreast of emerging technologies in cloud, DevOps, AI/ML, IoT, and blockchain, evaluating their potential for integration into our technology stack.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure that cloud and software solutions comply with industry security standards and regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC2.


Primary Skills

  • Experience:
    • 10+ years in software development, cloud / digital engineering, or similar roles.
    • 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, ideally within a cloud-native or digital transformation setting.
  • Cloud Platforms: Deep experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including IaaS, PaaS, serverless, and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Software Development: Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript. Hands-on experience with frameworks and tools like Spring Boot, Node.js, .NET Core, or Angular/React.
  • Microservices and APIs: Strong knowledge of micro-services architecture, RESTful APIs, and integration strategies.
  • DevOps and CI/CD: Expertise with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and automated testing.
  • Security Best Practices: Experience implementing security best practices, including data encryption, identity management, and application security.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments, with a strong understanding of agile principles and practices.
  • Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with machine learning, AI, or data engineering in a cloud environment.
  • Certifications in cloud platforms, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and data integration tools (Apache Kafka, AWS Glue).
  • Familiarity with IoT architecture, blockchain fundamentals, or edge computing solutions.
