Job Description
- Create & maintain Data Protection Handbook
- Drafting of Privacy Policy to align with applicable data protection laws in India as well as the requisite consent forms.
- Identifying the type of personal data collected, stored, processed, and shared by Canara Robeco
- Identify the purpose of data collection, processing, sharing and retention and opine on its alignment with the applicable data protection laws in India
- Give an opinion on data minimization.
- Informing and advising the employees on data privacy and protection compliance obligations
- Reviewing and advising on Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and monitoring performance of mitigations where necessary
- Ensure data protection law implementation in spirit and in form
- Promote the highest level of safety inorder to safeguard all the stakeholders by providing expert guidance and oversight on all aspects of data protection, challenges , privacy and areas that present highest risks
- Reportand repair any and all breaches by providing incident management advice and/or support as needed.Proactively engage media to minimalise impact ofdata breach in consultation with management
- Distil and communicate complex ideas in an understandable manner assisting the business to make difficult decisions
