JOB DESCRIPTION: SALES EXECUTIVE (for all locations)
A New Dealer Development Executive is responsible for identifying, onboarding, and managing new dealers or partners for a companys products or services. This role typically exists in industries like automotive, retail, FMCG, electronics, and other sectors that rely on dealer networks to drive sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Lead Generation
Identify potential dealers or partners in targeted regions or markets.
Generate leads through networking, research, and field visits.
Onboarding New Dealers
Present the companys offerings, business model, and value proposition to prospective dealers.
Negotiate terms of the partnership, including pricing, margins, and credit terms.
Facilitate the registration and onboarding process for new dealers.
Market Research and Analysis
Assess the potential of new markets and regions for dealer expansion.
Analyze competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities.
Relationship Management
Build strong relationships with newly acquired dealers to ensure engagement and retention.
Address queries and provide post-onboarding support to help dealers succeed.
Sales and Revenue Growth
Drive sales and achieve targets by enabling new dealers to perform effectively.
Ensure new dealers have adequate knowledge and tools to promote the companys products.
Compliance and Documentation
Ensure all legal and financial agreements are in place with dealers.
Maintain accurate records of dealer agreements, sales, and performance.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Sales and Negotiation Skills: Ability to close deals and build partnerships effectively.
Market Knowledge: Understanding of the industry, market dynamics, and competitors.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent ability to present, persuade, and maintain relationships.
Problem-Solving: Quick decision-making to address dealer issues or market challenges.
Analytical Skills: Capacity to analyze sales trends and dealer performance metrics.
Networking: Strong connections in the industry to identify and approach potential dealers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or dealer management (preferred).
Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and reporting software.
Performance Metrics (Performance will be based on the following criteria)
Number of new dealers on boarded.
Revenue contribution from new dealers.
Dealer retention and satisfaction rate.
Market expansion targets achieved.
