Job Title: Purchase Executive

Reports To: Purchase Manager / Procurement Manager

Job Summary:
The Purchase Executive will be responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services needed by the company. This role includes sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely delivery of materials, managing inventory levels, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Process Management:
  
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery times.
• Prepare and process purchase orders.
• Negotiate with vendors for the best terms, prices, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., production, finance) to determine procurement needs.
• Maintain up-to-date records of all purchases and payments.
• Vendor Management:
  
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with suppliers.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Resolve issues or disputes with vendors in a timely and effective manner.
• Inventory Management:
  
• Monitor stock levels and reorder items to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Maintain inventory records, ensuring accuracy in stock availability and usage.
• Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure proper storage of materials.
• Reporting & Documentation:
  
• Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis, supplier performance, and delivery status.
• Ensure all procurement documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Budget Management:
  
• Monitor procurement spending to ensure that it stays within the allocated budget.
• Look for cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-7 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and procurement software.
• Key Skills:
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Supply Chain Management or Procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS).
• Experience in a specific industry (e.g., manufacturing, retail).

Additional Information:

• Work Environment: Office-based, Industrial
• Working Hours: 9 AM 7 PM, Monday to Saturday
• Compensation: 2.5 LPA - 4.5 LPA
