Offset Printing Supervisor

Role & responsibilities

Pre make ready as per given planning.

Printing plate wastage record (plate week/damage/correction).

Provide shade approval according to the client's specifications.

Conducting quality checks on job performance

Check job to job docket with line clearance with wastage report and segregate non-usable material from the production area and ensure the material to return to stores department.

Ensure proper housekeeping in the production area

Ensure accurate and timely entry of production data, including relevant comments.

Maintain a logbook for maintenance/machine/ production related issues shiftwise.

Ensure proper Manpower handling shiftwise and document for proper reporting.

Make sure that shift supervisors/operators pass on their duties to the next shift supervisor/operators with all the updates. You must not leave your shift without doing this handover in person.

Ensure that production starts on schedule as set by the company, take necessary steps to maintain.
