We seek an experienced Head of Legal Operations to lead our Legal & Regulatory department.
The ideal candidate will oversee all legal operations across multiple locations, manage a team of legal professionals, and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
This is a leadership role that demands a strategic thinker with hands-on expertise in contract management, compliance, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Legal & Regulatory department, managing and mentoring a team across multiple locations.
- Oversee the drafting, review, and management of diverse agreements, including IT and non-IT, service, licensing, employment, and lease agreements.
- Strategically handle negotiations with clients and vendors to achieve favorable contractual terms.
- Develop and enforce organizational principles of integrity, compliance, and legal excellence.
- Manage risk assessment processes, redlining of agreements, and ensure adherence to data privacy standards.
- Collaborate with senior management to align legal operations with organizational goals and strategies.
- Review and approve key legal documents, including Statements of Work (SOW), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and Contract Terms & Specifications (CTS).
- Ensure compliance with insurance requirements and oversee associated processes.
- Maintain and secure organizational legal databases, ensuring accurate record-keeping of contracts and proposals.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure the organization's legal framework remains compliant.
Key Requirements:
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in legal operations, contract management, and compliance.
- Proven track record of leading and managing legal teams across multiple locations.
- Strong expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various legal documents.
- In-depth knowledge of risk management, data privacy laws, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks in the recruitment and staffing industry is preferred.
