Azure Consultant (3-5 yrs)

Job Description :

Experienced Azure Consultant.

The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Azure-based cloud solutions with a focus on Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, Azure networking, Windows Active Directory (AD) administration, and the Automox patching tool.

You will also be responsible for managing Hyper-V virtual environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Disaster Recovery (DR) Planning & Implementation :

- Develop and implement disaster recovery strategies for cloud and on-premises infrastructure.

- Ensure compliance with business continuity and DR best practices.

- Regularly test and update DR plans for Azure-based workloads.

Azure Networking & Infrastructure :

- Design, implement, and manage Azure network infrastructure (VNETs, NSGs, Load Balancers, VPN Gateways, etc.

- Troubleshoot network-related issues in Azure environments and ensure secure network configurations.

- Optimize cloud network architecture for performance and cost efficiency.

Windows Active Directory (AD) Administration :

- Manage and maintain on-premises and Azure AD environments.

- Perform tasks such as user/group management, GPOs, domain services, and directory synchronization (AD Connect).

- Ensure secure authentication, access management, and role-based access control.

Patch Management using Automox :

- Implement and manage patching processes using the Automox tool for on-premises and cloud-based systems.

- Monitor patch compliance and ensure systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches and updates.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to patching and system updates.

Hyper-V Management :

- Administer and maintain virtual environments using Hyper-V.

- Monitor performance, optimize configurations, and troubleshoot issues in Hyper-V environments.

- Ensure backups, snapshots, and recovery processes are in place for virtual machines.

Qualifications :

- Proven experience as an Azure Consultant with a focus on cloud solutions and infrastructure.

- Strong knowledge of Azure disaster recovery, high availability, and failover techniques.

- Expertise in Azure networking, including VNETs, NSGs, VPNs, and load balancing.

- Extensive experience managing Windows Active Directory (AD) and Azure AD.

- Proficiency in using Automox or similar patch management tools.

- Hands-on experience with Hyper-V virtualization technology.

- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Administrator Associate.

- Experience with automation tools (e., PowerShell, Azure Automation) to streamline processes.

- Familiarity with Azure Security best practices and policies.
