Chief Financial Officer - Logistics Industry (10-15 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Financial Strategy & Forecasting: Develop and execute financial strategies that support company growth objectives within the logistics industry, including pricing strategies for freight services.

- Budgeting & Cost Management: Oversee budgeting and forecasting, focusing on reducing operational costs across transport, warehousing, and shipping activities.

- Cash Flow & Working Capital: Manage cash flow and working capital to support the capital-intensive needs of freight forwarding, ensuring smooth financial operations.

- Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including customs and international trade laws, and manage financial risks specific to freight and logistics.

- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Provide accurate financial reporting, monitoring metrics such as freight margins, operational costs, and financial KPIs critical to logistics.

- Operational Efficiency: Partner with operations and logistics teams to streamline processes and improve the profitability of freight routes, inventory management, and customer invoicing.

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance environment focused on accuracy, accountability, and operational success.
