Portfolio Manager - Mid Frequency Trading - IIT/NIT (5-9 yrs)

Our client is one of India's leading diversified financial services groups, offering a range of innovative products and services. Also, they are well established in trading wfor multiple exchanges and expanding their MFT team. They are hiring for seasoned Portfolio Manager with expertise in managing end to end quantitative trading activities for MFT strategies along with managing P&L.

The Role & Responsibilities:

- Manage a multi-million-dollar portfolio using systematic strategies across asset classes and geographies.

- Drive end-to-end strategy creation, portfolio allocation, and trading activities.

- Creating strategies from scratch, backtesting with historic data, coding and deploying in live trading environment using python or C++.

- Lead a team of researchers and analysts, developing innovative, consistently profitable strategies.

- Adapt portfolio orientation and risk profiles to evolving market conditions.

To Qualify for the role:

- Engineering graduate from Tier 1 institutions (IITs/NITs only).

- 5+ years of quant research experience and at least 2 years of live trading on large books.

- Expertise in programming (R/Python/Java) and quantitative/statistical techniques.

- A deep macroeconomic understanding of market dynamics across asset classes.

- Excellent communicator, problem solving and analytical skills.
