• Call intake and routing:Receive incoming IT support calls or tickets, log details accurately, and route them to the relevant technical support personnel based on issue type and urgency.
• Initial troubleshooting:Perform basic troubleshooting steps to resolve simple issues and provide initial support to users.
• Incident management:Track the progress of IT issues, escalate complex problems to senior technicians when necessary, and keep users informed about resolution status.
• User access management:Manage user accounts, password resets, and access permissions to IT systems.
• Knowledge base maintenance:Contribute to and update the IT knowledge base with relevant troubleshooting information.
• Reporting and analysis:Generate reports on call volumes, common issues, and service level agreements (SLAs) to identify trends and improvement areas.
• Communication management:Clearly communicate technical information to non-technical users in a understandable manner.
• System administration:Monitor ticketing systems, update system information, and ensure data accuracy.

Required skills for an IT Call Coordinator:

• Strong communication skills:Excellent ability to listen actively, clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical users, and handle customer inquiries professionally.
• Technical knowledge:Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, network infrastructure, and common IT applications.
• Problem-solving skills:Ability to diagnose technical issues, troubleshoot effectively, and identify solutions.
• Organizational skills:Efficiently manage multiple tasks, prioritize work effectively, and meet deadlines.
