Position Name: Senior Structural Design Engineer

Qualification: ME in Structural Engineering

Experience: Over 5 years of relevant experience

Location: Coimbatore

Roles and Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in the structural design of International Projects
• Review and understand the client brief prepared by the architect
• Study and understand limiting factors of the site conditions
• Understand the loads that can be resisted safely by the structure
• Accommodate wind, earthquakes and other natural forces
• Has to be strong in Engineering fundamentals and principles.
• Develop a structural form that fits into the architectural form. In other words, the structural form will be limited by the architectural form
• Understand how the functional requirements of the building will impact the structural form
• Create a conceptual design based on material knowledge with size of columns, slabs thickness etc and accommodate services
• Stability analysis
• Well versed in British and European Codes; Working knowledge in American codes
• Design experience in Concrete, Steel and other structural material
• Detailed design including detailing for construction site

Required Skills

• Strong technology capabilities with industry-leading tools like REVIT and SCIA Engineer, ETABS, TSD (Tekla) etc
• Proven leadership skills including excellent inter-personal and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English language (oral and written)
• Has to be an Excellent Team player, willing to learn and share knowledge

Salary: 12 - 15 Lakhs per Annum

Date of Joining: As early as possible
