Job Description
As a Legal Engineer, you need to be a technologically adept individual who sees the opportunity to improve legal processes with the intelligent use of technology. You will need to collaborate with the clients to understand their requirements along with the Clients implementation and the technology team to translate the client requirements into AI solutions.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Legal engineering, workflow automation, contract assembly and contract automation implementations for all customers
- Assisting the Head of Legal Transformation and Associate Director build and deliver client legal transformation plans for new customers.
- Assisting the Implementation team where required. This includes onsite training and workshops.
- Supporting machine learning and AI initiatives in relation to clients current and future developments.
- Understanding the customers requirements in relation to AI output and executing the same.
- Understanding the customer s requirements in relation to workflows and executing the same
- Understanding the customers \u201cgap\u201d from the current process to the future process and coming up with creative ways to resolve them.
- Be agile and responsive to the customers needs and requirements.
- Assisting the Associate Director in all matters relating to legal engineering and legal design.
- Working closely with the customer to ensure that the AI software is functioning correctly and meeting their requirements
Requirements- 5+ years experience working in relation to legal aid having a qualification in law (L.L.B/L.L.M)
- 2-3 years of AI experience, including hands-on experience with generative AI platforms and prompt engineering, to optimize legal workflows and improve efficiency.
- Have experience working in legal services including the drafting and negotiating contracts and preferably with an IT background.
- Be able to interpret and analyse data from multiple sources and build systems and reports that solve business problems.
- Have experience working with practice/case management systems to improve existing systems and develop new processes that increase productivity.
- Be articulate, knowledgeable and have excellent presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of the Generative Ai space, up to date with recent releases of the leading Gen Ai Platforms. Has a good understanding of how prompt engineering works and has had either personal/professional experience in doing the same.
- 5+ years experience working in relation to legal aid having a qualification in law (L.L.B/L.L.M)
