Qualification & Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from a recognized university, OR
• A Bachelors degree in Science from a recognized university along with a Postgraduate degree/diploma in Nuclear Medicine Technology from a recognized university.
• eLORA registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) is mandatory.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of nuclear medicine procedures. The responsibilities include:

• Equipment Management: Ensure the proper functioning of nuclear medicine equipment through periodic calibrations and quality assurance checks. Perform preventive maintenance and report any technical issues.
• Radiopharmaceutical Handling: Verify radiopharmaceutical quality, dosage accuracy, and administration routes. Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely, ensuring compliance with radiation safety protocols. Prevent spillage and contamination of radioactive materials.
• Patient & Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols to prevent radiation exposure to patients, staff, and the environment. Monitor patients post-administration and ensure compliance with radiation safety standards.
• Incident Reporting & Documentation: Report any mishap or unusual incidents related to dosage administration to the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) and Nuclear Medicine Physician. Assist the RSO in maintaining records of radioactive sources, patient dosages, and waste disposal.
