Qualification & Requirements:

• MBBS degree from a recognized university.
• Postgraduate degree in Radiation Therapy/Radiation Oncology or an equivalent qualification.
• eLORA registration as a Radiation Oncologist.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

The Radiation Oncologist will be responsible for the overall care of cancer patients and ensuring compliance with the Atomic Energy (Radiation Protection) Rules, 2004 (or its latest version). Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting patient consultations, clinical evaluations, and determining appropriate treatment plans.
• Establishing and implementing treatment plans (EBRT, Brachytherapy) with accurate dose prescriptions.
• Overseeing and participating in the execution of radiation therapy treatments.
• Monitoring patient progress during treatment and conducting careful radiation treatments.
• Preparing detailed treatment summaries and ensuring proper follow-up care.
• Contributing to research activities in precision oncology, multi-centre oncology trials, and biomarker studies.
