CA Monk - Manager - Valuation Services (3-7 yrs)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to join our Valuation Services team in Andheri East, Mumbai.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in business valuation, corporate finance, or financial advisory, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality valuation services.

Key Responsibilities:

Valuation Services Delivery:

- Execute and manage valuation engagements for various purposes, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), financial reporting (Ind AS, IFRS, US GAAP), tax planning, and litigation support.

- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including in-depth review of financial statements, operational data, and industry trends.

- Develop and apply appropriate valuation methodologies, such as Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) analysis, market multiples, precedent transactions, and asset-based valuations.

- Prepare detailed valuation reports and presentations, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with relevant standards.

Financial Modeling and Analysis:

- Build and maintain complex financial models to project future cash flows and assess business value.

- Perform sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to evaluate the impact of key assumptions on valuation outcomes.

- Analyze and interpret financial data, identifying key value drivers and risks.

Client Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional service.

- Act as a primary point of contact for clients on valuation engagements, ensuring timely and effective communication.

- Present valuation findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and professional manner.

Business Development:

- Identify and pursue business development opportunities, contributing to the growth of the Valuation Services practice.

- Participate in networking events and industry conferences to build relationships and generate leads.

- Prepare proposals and presentations for potential clients.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and professional guidelines, including those issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI).

- Maintain high ethical standards and adhere to the firm's quality control procedures.

- Stay updated on changes in valuation methodologies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Team Collaboration and Mentorship:

- Work closely with team members, providing guidance and support as needed.

- Mentor junior staff and contribute to their professional development.

- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in business valuation, corporate finance, or financial advisory services.

- Strong understanding of valuation methodologies, financial modeling, and financial statement analysis.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software applications.

Preferred Certifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA)

- Registered Valuer (IBBI)

- MBA Finance

Compensation:

- Competitive CTC in the range of 15-25 Lakhs per annum (LPA), commensurate with experience and qualifications.
