Junior Civil Project Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1. Preparing and reviewing project estimates, tender documents, and contract agreements.

2. Coordinate with project teams to plan, schedule, and monitor project progress.

3. Prepare and track project schedules, resource allocation plans, and budgets.

4. Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors.

6. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

7. Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, records, and drawings.

8. Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff and contractors.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

2. Minimum 4 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in construction or infrastructure development.

3. Strong skills in estimation, project management, and project coordination.

4. Proficiency in MS Office, project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), and AutoCAD.

5. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
