Assistant Design Head

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Assistant Design Head to support our design team in conceptualizing and executing jewellery collections. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of luxury jewellery trends, gemstones, and materials, along with a strong sense of aesthetics and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Design Head with overall Design team tasks and focusing on enhancing team productivity.
• Assist in managing the design team, ensuring creative excellence and project efficiency in coordination with the Design Head.
• Develop and oversee design concepts, strategies and execution across projects in coordination with the Design Head.
• Oversee the design process from concept to final execution, ensuring precision in craftsmanship and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design goals with Company objectives.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative design solutions.
• Ensure alignment with the brands vision and uphold quality standards in every creation.
• Guide junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
  
  

Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in jewellery Design, Fine Arts, or a related field
• 5-6 years of experience in jewellery design, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior design role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design expertise and strategic thinking.
• Expertise in sketching, CAD software (Rhino, Matrix, or equivalent), Corel Draw and jewellery manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of gemstones, settings, and luxury design aesthetics.
• Experience working with custom jewellery projects.
• Passion for innovation while respecting the heritage of fine jewellery craftsmanship.
