Job Overview:
Job Title: Technical Sales Executive
Location: Nariman Point
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish the technical needs of customers and recommend appropriate
products.
• Explain complex technical information in an easily understandable manner.
• Follow up with customers to resolve issues and provide ongoing support.
• Keep customers informed about new technological products and industry trends.
• Compile proposals and reports related to technical products.
• Ensure that sales targets are consistently met and report sales activities to
management.
• Maintain accurate records of customer communications and interactions.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the paints and coatings
market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and
contractors.
• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with R&D and product development teams to understand and
communicate product features.
• Analyse customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Negotiate prices and terms with customers.
• Track sales activities and share information with management.
• Attend trade shows and industry events to promote products and enhance brand
visibility.
• Travel as needed to meet with clients and conduct demonstrations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in technical sales within the paints and coatings industry.
• Strong understanding of paint formulations and application processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
