Roles and Responsibilities :
As a back-end software engineer, you will play a key role in the development of our new line of solutions. Your responsibilities will include : Designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions.
- Championing best practices in software development and service delivery, including agile methodologies, code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD, and TDD.
- Contributing to design and architecture decisions, aligning them with the product roadmap and business objectives.
- Collaborating closely with geographically distributed and cross-functional team members and stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
- Staying updated with industry trends and advancements to enhance our development processes and service offering.
- Fostering a culture of learning, growth and productivity within the team.
What will you need to be successful in this role :
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development using Java.
- 4+ years of experience in software solution development and delivery, preferably with a SaaS delivery model.
- Experience developing solutions based on a microservice architecture.
- Significant experience with a cloud infrastructure platform (e.g. OCI, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
- A proven record of participating in development activities for a fast-moving enterprise, with a successful delivery track record in a high-growth and matrixed environment.
- Experience with ORMs such as Hibernate.
- Experience with one or more RDMS like Oracle, PostgreSQL.
- Proven experience with industry best practices, including TDD, CI/CD, agile methodologies, code reviews, unit testing, and automation.
- Experience developing enterprise business software backed by RBDMS.
