Our growing team is looking for a Scrum Master who can contribute to our Project Function team by organizing and facilitating ongoing and upcoming projects. This role involves enabling cross-functional teams to apply Agile principles effectively, participating in stakeholder meetings, and removing impediments that hinder team progress.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. To succeed as a Scrum Master, you must be able to meet tight deadlines and have exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
   
2. Ensure that goals, scope, and the product domain are well understood by everyone on the Scrum Team.
   
3. Guide and coach the Scrum Team on Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products and services.
   
4. Ensure that Scrum/Kanban is properly understood and that the team adheres to its theory, practices, and guidelines.
   
5. Train, mentor, and support Scrum teams in following Agile values, principles, and best practices.
   
6. Coach the Scrum team on self-organization, cross-functional skills, and effective communication both internally and externally.
   
7. Facilitate and support all Scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
   
8. Act as the point of contact for external communication (e.g., with customers or stakeholders), and facilitate internal communication and collaboration.
   
9. Identify and manage tasks, issues, risks, and action items; remove impediments to the Development Teams progress.
   
10. Monitor progress and team performance, and help identify areas for improvement.
    
11. Plan and organize product demos and system testing.
    
12. Assist the Product Owner with maintaining and refining the Product Backlog.
    
13. Collaborate with Agile Coaches and other Scrum Masters for role development and knowledge sharing.
    
14. Work with other Scrum Masters to resolve team-level impediments and enhance the application of Scrum within the organization.

Qualifications

• Excellent academic record with a Bachelor's degree
  
• 3-6 years of experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies
  
• Proficiency in using JIRA
  
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
