We are looking for a skilled and experienced Account Manager - Bench Sales to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in bench sales, managing client accounts, and driving revenue growth by marketing IT bench consultants to prospective clients. This role requires a combination of sales, recruitment, and relationship management skills to achieve success in a competitive staffing environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management:
    Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all bench sales activities.
  • Marketing Bench Resources:
    Proactively market and sell bench consultants to clients, ensuring the best-fit match for client requirements. This includes understanding client needs and offering solutions that align with our available resources.
  • Lead Generation & Sales Growth:
    Drive business development efforts to generate leads, conduct cold calling, and convert opportunities into placements. Work towards revenue generation through bench sales and placement of consultants at client sites.
  • Contract Negotiations:
    Negotiate terms, rates, and contracts with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements. Ensure compliance with company standards and processes.
  • Market Research & Trend Analysis:
    Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market demands, and technology advancements to understand what skills are in demand. Identify and capitalize on opportunities for selling bench resources.
  • Placement Strategy:
    Collaborate with the recruiting team to understand the bench pool and identify the best candidates for client requirements. Manage the full lifecycle of placements, from identifying opportunities to securing contracts.
  • Performance Reporting:
    Track and report on key performance metrics, including number of placements, client feedback, and revenue targets. Provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Internal Collaboration:
    Work closely with internal teams, including recruiters and operations, to ensure smooth coordination between bench resources and client requirements.
    Participate in strategic discussions to improve sales strategies and market positioning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    4+ years of experience in bench sales, IT staffing, or account management in a recruitment environment.
  • Sales Expertise:
    Strong sales and business development skills with a proven track record in generating new business and closing sales.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    A solid understanding of the IT staffing industry, including knowledge of technologies, skills, and market demand for IT professionals.
  • Communication Skills:
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Negotiation Skills:
    Proficient in negotiating contracts, rates, and agreements with clients, ensuring both profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Team Player:
    Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including recruitment, operations, and management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, and other sales tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of the latest IT technologies and trends.
