Company:


Based out of Coimbatore, has over 38 years' of experience in producing high-quality precision aluminium castings in India. Products include, aluminium gravity die casting, sand casting and greensand casting. Customers include Global Defence, Aerospace, and Automobile companies, operating in India and abroad and a broad range of performance-critical industries.

Role Summary:


The BDM is to identify sales leads, pitch goods or services to new clients maintain a good working relationship with new contacts and Develop growth strategies and plans.

The position is based in Coimbatore. 2 Open Position.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Responsibilities:

- Following up on new business opportunities and setting up meetings

- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.

- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs

- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.

- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.

- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.

- Following industry trends locally and internationally

- Developing quotes and proposals for clients.

- Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition

- Drafting and reviewing contracts

- Willingness to travel 30% of the time domestically and globally.

- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support

Desirable but not essential:

- Plan, develop, organize, implement and direct Continuous Improvement programmes - Cost Increase, On time Payment initiatives

- Provide support or leadership in developing markets, sales, customer interface, etc

Required Candidate profile - Essential:

The candidate must have at least 7+ years of experience in the business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role with:

- Experience with the design and implementation of business development strategy

- Experience working to and exceeding targets.

- Graduate or Post Graduate with a specialisation in business, marketing or related field.

- Good communication and negotiation skills in English.

- In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events.

- The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.

Required Candidate profile - Desirable but not Essential:

- Prior experience in Manufacturing of Castings Market knowledge.

- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems with requirements of AS, ISO 2015 and IATF 16949 for Automobiles.

- Knowledge of Hindi will be an added advantage
