- We are seeking motivated and result-driven Business Development Managers (ESG/Sustainability) to join our dynamic sales team.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ESG/Sustainability concepts, and software solutions, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Expected Deliverables in and as Business Development Manager responsible for ESG/Sustainability sales.
- Market trends assessment and identify business opportunities in the relevant field of ESG/Sustainability Reporting, GHG, Net Zero, etc.
- Communication with Potential Clients to explore various business opportunities with actionable business strategies.
- Nurturing relationships with clients, tracking client actions, and closing on business proposals.
- Creating sales pitches, developing proposals, performing live demonstrations for clients, and scaling the business.
- Generating new sales leads.
- Attending networking events.
- Managing records of sales, revenue, and other important data.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in B2B Sales (SaaS/ Technology sales experience is a must).
- Graduate/Post Graduate in Environment Engineering/Post Graduate in Science/MBA in ESG/ Sustainability or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of Environmental Legislative requirements/Sustainability reporting as per global standards.
- Relevant Certification in ESG and Sustainability will be an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in communicating business, technology, and partner strategy clearly - verbally or in written form.
- Strong business acumen, willing to work hard to enhance his/her business development experience and demonstrate readiness to take on leadership roles.
- Good negotiation and persuasion skills are a must.
- A good attitude and the ability to keep calm under pressure and solve problems in a timely and effective manner.
- Strong team player and should possess collaborative and networking abilities.
