Burr Pilger Mayer India Pvt. Ltd. (BPM India) is a subsidiary of BPM LLP. Founded in 1986, BPM is one of the largest California-based accounting and consulting firms, ranking in the top 50 in the country. With 15 offices across the Bay Area, BPM serves emerging and mid-cap businesses as well as high-net-worth individuals in a broad range of industries, including financial services, technology, life science, manufacturing, food, wine, and craft brewing, automotive, nonprofits, real estate, and construction. The Firm s International Tax Practice is one of the largest on the West Coast and its well-recognized SEC practice serves approximately 35 public reporting companies, mostly in the technology industry.
What Youll Do:
    • Lead and Manage Teams: Supervise the experienced hire and campus hire teams supporting the practice groups, setting clear expectations and KPIs to drive performance. Provide ongoing support, coaching, and resources they need to be successful.
    • Execute the Talent Acquisition Strategy: Collaborate with the Director of Talent Strategy Global Operations to implement a data-driven, technology-enabled recruitment strategy. This strategy will incorporate AI and integrate internal systems to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance both the candidate and hiring manager experience.
    • Partner with Practice Groups: Collaborate closely with practice group leaders to understand their talent needs, align recruitment strategies, and deliver market insights that support the firm s growth.
    • Foster a Positive Candidate Experience: Ensure a seamless, inclusive, and technology-enabled candidate experience that reflects BPM s values and supports our business objectives.
    • Manage Day-to-Day Recruiting Operations: Tackle daily operational issues, ensuring the smooth functioning of all recruiting activities and addressing challenges as they arise.
    • Build External Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with universities, external recruiting partners, and other talent sources to strengthen BPM s talent pipeline.
    • Enhance Processes: Leverage tools, recruiting technologies, and data-driven insights to continually improve the efficiency, quality, and diversity of BPM s hiring processes.
    • Elevate Candidate Selection and Retention: Drive improvements in the candidate selection process by implementing data-driven tools and best practices, ensuring BPM hires top talent that aligns with our culture and business needs, resulting in higher retention and long-term success.
Requirements Skills:
    • 10 years of proven experience in talent acquisition, including leading campus and global experienced hire teams while scaling recruiting functions.
    • Bachelor s degree in human resources or business administration, or related field of study or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with a track record of coaching and supporting teams to meet performance goals and KPIs.
    • Ability to manage recruiting operations, resolve challenges, and streamline processes.
    • Expertise in recruiting technologies, data analytics, and AI-driven tools.
    • Ability to use data to inform recruitment strategies and decision-making.
    • A passion for delivering an exceptional and inclusive candidate experience.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Additional Skills and Knowledge:
    • Ability to represent the firm and business with professionalism, poise and model the BPM values.
    • Proven time management, organizational, and follow-up skills, with a high comfort level initiating and responding to high volume of phone calls and emails.
    • Adept at working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a task-driven focus.
    • Accustomed to serving as a Change Agent - highly adaptable, dependable with an entrepreneurial spirit.
    • Commitment to a heightened sense of urgency associated with the talent acquisition processes.
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to successfully troubleshoot and resolve unexpected roadblocks, barriers and inquiries from internal and external clients.
    • Excellent relationship building capabilities with a keen ability to drive engagement with the recruiting process.
    • Mature and proactive professional judgement is vital to influence at all levels.
    • Ability to manage a flexible schedule.
