Candidate with International Tax experience willing to learn different concepts in different jurisdictions, including concepts required to report on international activity on US tax filings
Experience with Microsoft applications required
Experience with Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE and Vertex applications preferred but not required
Possess strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to independently ensure accurate work
Excellent oral and written communication skills required
Roles & Responsibilities
This Role will support the global tax function of the organization by maintaining compliance with tax filing requirements in multiple jurisdictions, supporting audit defense activities, and responding to ad hoc requests from other members of the global tax function. This role will address a variety of tax types with a focus on international income and indirect taxes.
Specific responsibilities include
Draft tax filings and prepare supporting workpapers across a range of tax disciplines in various tax jurisdictions
Coordinate support provided by third-party tax advisors
Assist in responding to audits initiated by tax authorities, including collection of documentary evidence and preparation of support workpapers
Prepare account reconciliations and pursue resolution of any outstanding items
Execute processes and tasks in support of month-end close
Other ad hoc duties upon request or as per requirements.
