Position: Senior Engineer - PEO

Location: Pune

Your contributions to organisations growth:

• In the PEO, the SPE is responsible to handle projects & tasks to improve knowledge, processes, products, standards, or tools out of areas that are not attributed to a Lead Engineer (LE) or where the LE has insufficient resources to support it. The SPE in the PEO also supports more complex tasks out of the regular tasks of Sales and Project Support (SPS)
• Creating standards for execution and its introduction based on principles of "economies of repetition" are the primary objectives of this position.
• Define components and interfaces for engineering standards without prior example, based on market and product requirements
• Ability to define best solution or practice against a range of applications or variants thereof know-how on organization, processes and tools co-ordination and execution of multiple engineering tasks at the same time
• Ability to detect and act upon correlations and interactions between various engineering tasks
• Enlarged scope and complexity of responsibility for engineering, i.e. for the entire system versus a single component
• Bandwidth of application know-how
• Supporting the engineering process, with standards and tools to suit its requirements aiming at timely and cost-optimized delivery of engineering documents
• Delegation of tasks to project engineers and overall coordination of engineering development of
• A project with clear understanding cross dependencies among engineering tasks
• Management of engineering tasks
• Quality assurance of technical deliverables
• Problem solving capabilities
• Relevant expertise to act as reviewer in the qualification of new suppliers and to work with
• Unqualified suppliers
• Acting as technical expert versus clients and suppliers.

Expertise you have to bring in along with;

• Masters or bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or equivalent education
• At least 5 years experience in similar business
• Knowledge of rotating equipment and/or related processes across a range of applications.
