About the role
We are looking for a hands-on Head of Talent Acquisition to be based in our India office in Gurugram (4 days in office). This person will hire for senior roles while also being responsible for leading the team and the evolution of our talent acquisition strategy, ensuring we attract, qualify and hire top-tier talent in APAC and MENA. You will deliver an enterprise-wide, cohesive and efficient recruiting plan that meets the unique and often nuanced needs of a diverse portfolio of Builder.ai businesses and locations.
Responsibilities include leading a global team of TA Managers and recruiters, creating & executing a comprehensive talent strategy that allows us to raise the bar and achieve our hiring targets while providing an excellent candidate experience.
Youll be responsible for
Design and execute proactive Talent Acquisition strategies to attract, evaluate and hire high-quality candidates.
Alignment with global functions, strategy and business objectives and outcomes
Lead, coach and develop a team of TA Managers and Team Members who are globally distributed
Workforce planning, assessing skill gaps, building talent pipeline to support succession planning, forecasting for future hires, developing a global action plan and looking at retention opportunities & strategies
Create and embed a strategy to ensure we are hiring a diverse workforce and considering DEI best practice throughout our hiring processes
Oversee and improve overall candidate experience
Build a pipeline of qualified and engaged candidates across Delivery, Engineering, Product, Sales and other corporate functions for future hiring needs across all the countries that we operate in
Ensure that all our TA team follow strict data principles and practices to ensure all aspects of team and hiring performance can be analysed and improved
Work with cross-functional teams to enhance our employer brand
Streamline processes according to best practices, manage hiring costs effectively and create the KPIs on how success will be data measured (standard key performance indicators including diversity metrics, interview process, talent referral programs, headcount approval process).
Lead hiring efforts for senior and key roles to ensure we are have the right people to lead as we scale and prepare for the next chapter of continued growth
Establish a robust view of the external environment of competitors, compensation and other trends to support our People Business Partners, global business functions and business leaders.
Partner closely with stakeholders including with People Business Partners, global People functions and business leaders, with full accountability of all aspects of the recruitment process to achieve hiring targets and objectives
Proven work experience as a Global Head of Talent Acquisition and managing global Talent Acquisition teams that have experienced high growth & scale
Experience in hiring Delivery, Engineering, Product and Sales.
Experience as a 1st and 2nd line leader
Hands-on experience with candidate sourcing, interviewing and evaluation
Good knowledge of labor legislation especially in India and Middle East
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven record of managing high performing teams
