Brillius - Senior Java Developer - Spring Frameworks (5-7 yrs)

Role Description :

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Java Developer at Brillius Technologies. The Senior Java Developer will be responsible for software development, microservices architecture, programming, and utilizing the Spring Framework.

The role is located in Hyderabad with flexibility for some remote work.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Java applications using industry best practices.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot and related frameworks.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including architects, designers, and QA engineers.

- Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.

- Stay abreast of the latest Java technologies and industry trends.

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's technical growth.

- Participate in agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Required Skills :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.

- Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA).

- Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.

- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).

- Experience with unit testing and integration testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).

- Experience with version control systems (Git).

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
