Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and mentor a team of BI developers and engineers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Manage all aspects of project delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, and control.
- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Deep expertise in designing, developing, and implementing complex BI solutions, including data warehousing, data modeling, data integration, and reporting.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse and cloud-based BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Proven experience in migrating Tableau reports and dashboards to cloud environments.
- In-depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Experience with data quality and data governance best practices.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare domain, including specific experience with health insurance data (HEDIS, Risk Adjustment, Membership, Provider, Eligibility, Claims, etc.
- Effectively manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Utilize Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Act as the liaison between clients and the development team, ensuring clear communication and successful project delivery.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
- Strong SQL and scripting skills.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Required Skills :
- 5+ years of IT experience as a Technical Lead in a BI and/or DW environment with BI reporting and Snowflake Data Warehouse Development with specific experience migrating Tableau reports and dashboards to the cloud.
- 5+ years of experience leading and managing a combination of on and offshore developers and test engineers.
- Strong experience working remotely as a Tableau Developer and leading remote teams with success in meeting client requirements.
- MUST have experience with health insurance data, including HEDIS, Risk Adjustment, Membership, Provider, Eligibility, Claims, etc.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management experience.
- Strength in verbal and written communication and ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders.
- Experience being the liaison between clients and teams ensuring deliverables are met for Sprint/Agile, as well as experience migrating Tableau reports and dashboards to the cloud.
Nice-to-Have Skills :
- Experience with data science and machine learning techniques.
- Experience with cloud-native data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, Amazon Redshift).
- Experience with data security and privacy best practices (data masking, encryption).
- Experience with data governance and data quality tools
