We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in accounting, banking, and financial management, with a particular focus on compliance, audits, financial reporting, and banking operations. This role will involve managing financial accounts, overseeing audits, handling banking relationships, and ensuring timely reporting to senior management and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Accounting: Ensure accurate and timely book-keeping, accounting processes, and compliance with relevant financial regulations such as GST and TDS.
Tax Compliance: Ensure timely filing of tax returns, including GST and TDS, and manage tax payments.
Audit & Accounts Finalization: Lead the preparation, finalization, and auditing of financial accounts, ensuring all records are accurate and compliant with regulations.
Consolidated Financial Reporting: Prepare consolidated monthly/quarterly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and balance sheets by gathering data from various sites and projects.
Financial Planning Coordination: Coordinate with various teams to prepare financial plans and proposals for submission to lenders.
Budgeting & Strategic Planning: Participate in key strategic meetings with senior management, offering insights on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
MIS Reporting: Ensure timely submission of various Management Information System (MIS) reports to management.
Coordination with Projects: Act as a liaison with the teams to address accounting-related matters, including purchase orders, billing, payments, and outstanding balances.
Banking & Financial Operations: Communicate regularly with banking officials, maintaining strong business relations, and following up with banks to expedite RTGS, NEFT, and other financial transactions.
Coordination with Auditors: Collaborate with internal and statutory auditors to ensure smooth audit processes and compliance with statutory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Professional qualifications such as CA inter is a plus).
Experience: 2-3 years of Proven experience in accounting, banking operations, and financial management, with a focus on auditing and reporting.
