We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Technology team in Chennai

Bright-River provides Visual Content services to the larger e-commerce and retail companies around the world. Our 2D and CGI visual experts deliver product visual content daily using our in-house developed platform and applications. Our Business Technology team is a dedicated team of engineers and developers working on our application stack and platform. We are spread across our offices in Netherlands, New York, India and Bangladesh.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will excel at analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and translating complex business needs into detailed technical requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and ensure that our technical solutions deliver maximum business value.

Responsibilities :

- Conduct thorough business process analysis and document current state workflows, identifying pain points and opportunities for optimization.

- Facilitate workshops and interviews with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and system specifications.

- Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and process flow diagrams using standard business analysis techniques and tools.

- Perform gap analysis between current and desired business processes, recommending solutions that align with organizational goals and technical capabilities.

- Collaborate with development teams to ensure requirements are properly understood and implemented, serving as the primary liaison between business and technical teams.

- Support user acceptance testing by creating test cases, coordinating testing activities, and documenting results.

- Analyze data and prepare reports to help stakeholders make informed decisions about process improvements and system enhancements.

Requirements :

- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Business Analyst in software development or technology projects

- Strong knowledge of business analysis techniques and tools (process mapping, requirements gathering, use case modeling)

- Demonstrated experience with requirements management and documentation tools (Jira, Confluence, or similar)

- Proficiency in creating business process models, workflows, and diagrams using tools like Visio, Draw.io, or similar

- Experience in writing clear and comprehensive business requirements documents (BRDs) and functional specifications

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills with ability to facilitate meetings and present to stakeholders at all levels

- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies

- Experience in data analysis and reporting
