The Role

The primary objective of the role is to provide value added Business Intelligence to Brennan. The role will discover and integrate source data systems into the Business Intelligence systems. This role will take all reports from Australia and constantly evaluate usefulness of them using effective measures developed with the management team. This will ensure reporting is consistently evolving to meet the needs of the end customer, and just as importantly internal customers. The role is a challenging one, that requires a dynamic individual who is self-motivated, disciplined, ethical and results oriented. They must be able to work unsupervised and on their own initiative. They will bring market insight, creative flair, a passion for results and the ability to manage and achieve through others.

Role Responsibilities

• Business Intelligence & Reporting development
• Integration of data sources into data warehouse
• Administration of analysis services
• Administration of MSSQL Server Databases
• Creation of data mining models
• Source system integration tools
• Develop and administer SQL Integration Services Packages
• Report management and effectiveness
• Administration of PowerBI Report Server
• Administration of Reporting Datasets
• Development of Reports Utilizing PowerBI and SQL Reporting Services

Key Competencies and Qualifications required

• Minimum of 5 years work experience in Systems Integration role
• Minimum of 5 years in the IT domain, experience working in database admin and integration systems
• High level competency in the Microsoft BI stack including Analysis Services and Integration Services
• High level competency in verbal and written communication skills
• High level competency in decision making/problem solving skills
• Database reporting, development and administration skill sets
• Ability to build and maintain solid relationships with key stakeholders whilst undertaking the role of company ambassador
• High level competency maintaining systems and document control
