L3 Network Engineer (Wireless & WIFI Domain)

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and optimize wireless network solutions for enterprise environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in wireless and network setups, including performance and authentication problems
• Monitor network performance and recommend optimization strategies
• Perform network audits, including configuration review, compliance, and best practices implementation
• Manage technical troubleshooting support for Arista equipment and act as a liaison with Arista TAC for escalations
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Conduct upgrades, such as OS patches and vulnerability fixes for Arista devices
• Generate detailed reports (daily, weekly, monthly) on network operations and troubleshooting activities
• Collaborate with the Arista team for product lifecycle management of installed products

Key Skills and Requirements:Technical Expertise:

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in wireless networking
• Strong exposure to packet capture-level troubleshooting
• Experience with designing, deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting wireless networks for enterprise clients
• In-depth knowledge of wireless and network protocols, including:
• Wireless mesh networking
• 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax
• RF fundamentals / MIMO
• Wireless security (WPA2, WPA3), EAP frameworks (EAP, PEAP, EAP-TLS)
• Networking protocols: DHCP, DNS, VLANs (IEEE 802.1Q), RADIUS, IPv4/IPv6, LACP, STP/MST, etc.
• Hands-on experience with Arista equipment is a plus
• Proficiency in troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks, indoor/outdoor wireless solutions, and using packet capture/analysis tools
• Knowledge of Arista CV-CUE and campus products is highly desirable

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/EC/EE or a related field
• Industry-recognized wireless certifications (e.g., CWNA, CWAP, CWSP) are an added advantage
