Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with expertise in CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, infrastructure automation, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, and monitoring tools, along with a solid understanding of static code analysis tools and networking concepts. This role requires a proactive approach to designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure in AWS, with future readiness for Azure DevOps.

Key Responsibilities:

• CI/CD Pipeline Management:Develop and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines using declarative scripting.Integrate static code analysis tools like Checkmarx, SonarQube, and BlackDuck into CI/CD pipelines.
• Containerization and Orchestration:Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters and Docker containers.Create and maintain Dockerfiles, Helm charts, and Kubernetes configurations (e.g., Pod concepts, config maps).
• Repository and Build Management:Administer Nexus repositories and Docker registries.Manage Gradle build scripts for Java-based projects.
• Search and Monitoring:Administer and maintain Elasticsearch, including writing basic search queries in Kibana.(Desirable) Leverage Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki for monitoring and alerting.
• Infrastructure Automation:Write and maintain Ansible scripts for automating infrastructure tasks.Execute Postman scripts as part of CI/CD pipelines for API testing.
• Networking and System Management:Apply strong networking and database connectivity knowledge for system integration.Use Linux/Unix command-line tools for configuration, troubleshooting, and management.
• Cloud and Virtualization:Work within AWS infrastructure to build, deploy, and optimize scalable solutions.Gain familiarity with Azure DevOps basics for future migration.
• (Desirable) Exposure to VMware Tanzu for virtualization.
• Static Code Analysis:Implement and support static code analysis tools within CI/CD workflows.
• Telemetry and Observability:(Desirable) Understand and implement OpenTelemetry for observability.

Qualifications:

• Must-Have Skills:
• Strong expertise in Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and declarative scripting.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm charts.
• Nexus repository and Docker registry administration experience.
• Gradle build script management for Java projects.
• Elasticsearch administration and basic Kibana query knowledge.
• Static code analysis tool experience (e.g., Checkmarx, SonarQube, BlackDuck).
• Hands-on experience with Ansible scripting.
• Linux/Unix command-line expertise.
• Desirable Skills:
• Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki for monitoring.
• Knowledge of VMware Tanzu and OpenTelemetry.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and cloud migration workflows.
