About the Role:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team.
- This role is pivotal in providing accurate and insightful financial analysis that drives strategic decision-making.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial planning tools, data reconciliation, and key performance indicator (KPI) reporting.
- You will be responsible for generating and analyzing reports from Adaptive Planning, performing Salesforce reconciliations, and managing data loads into our financial systems.
- This is a hybrid position based in Pune, offering a blend of remote and in-office work.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Generate, analyze, and interpret detailed financial reports from Adaptive Planning to provide actionable business insights.
- Conduct thorough variance analyses to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive KPI and metric dashboards to track performance and support strategic initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
Data Management and Reconciliation:
- Perform detailed Salesforce reconciliations to ensure data integrity and accuracy between CRM and financial systems.
- Manage and execute data loads into Adaptive Planning and Jedox systems, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and update financial databases and systems.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across platforms.
Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data.
- Communicate financial information effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
- Participate in the implementation of new financial systems and tools.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of proven experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in financial planning tools such as Adaptive Planning and Jedox.
- Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work in a hybrid work environment.
- Ability to work independantly and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of database management and SQL.
- Experience creating and automating reports.
