Job Description

We are seeking apassionate Software Development Engineer Lead in the Android Team to develop next-generation services andapplications for our expanding business.
In the SDE II role, you will:
- Act as a quality advocate within the scrum team,aiding in the planning, design, and verification of user stories.
- Prioritize and handle key tasks with the team.
- Mentor and provide technical assistance to teammembers.
- Quickly identify and escalate defects,collaborate with cross-functional product teams to isolate issues, and trackthem to resolution.
- Coordinate engineering tasks across functionalteams.
- Ensure user stories meet acceptance criteriawith appropriate automation.
- Write tests and introduce advanced practices,such as prioritizing exploratory tests and establishing a reliable regressiontest suite.
- Assess and implement tools to improve testingpractices and make significant technical decisions with accountability.
- Proficiency in applying coding standards andparticipating actively in code reviews.
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn newtechnologies rapidly.
- Effective time management skills with a strongtrack record of meeting deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced programming and analytical skills withproficiency in Java, Kotlin, and the Android SDK.
- Experience with Gradle, Git, MAT, LINT,threading, and processes.
- Familiarity with Unit Testing, TDD, and Androidcomponents (Services, Layouts, Fragments, Adapters, Receivers, ADB).
- Expertise in Android Studio, IntelliJ IDEA, andsoftware development best practices.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on product qualityand efficiency.
