Generalist/Technical Artist 3D

Responsibilities:

User Research & Design Thinking:

Conduct user research to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations.

Utilize design thinking & various research methods such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights.

Wireframing and Prototyping:

Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to visualize and communicate design ideas.

Iterate on designs based on feedback and user testing to enhance usability and functionality.

Interaction Design:

Design intuitive and efficient interactions for web and mobile applications.

Ensure consistency in interaction patterns and user interface elements across products

Visual & Motion Design:

Develop visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that align with brand guidelines.

Collaborate with visual designers to create high-fidelity mockups and design assets. Usability Testing:

Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback and validate design decisions.

Analyze usability test results and identify areas for improvement.

Collaboration:

Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints.

Communicate design concepts and rationale effectively to cross-functional teams.

Stay Updated:

Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX design.

Continuously seek opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in UX design principles and methodologies.


Qualifications

3 - 8 yrs of industry relevant experience post Bachelors degree in Design/Human-Computer Interaction (HCI/HMI)/Computer Science/Electronics or related field.

Proficiency in 2D design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, Axure, or similar


Proficiency in 3D modeling and texturing tools such as 3DSMax, Blender3D, Maya, Substance Painter, or similar


Proficiency in 3D prototyping or rendering tools such as Unity3D, UnrealEngine, or similar
Additional information

Bachelors degree in Design/Human-Computer Interaction (HCI/HMI)/Computer Science/Electronics or related field

Proven experience as a UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI design projects

Experience with consulting in IT / Automotive / Healthcare / Industrial / Consumer Electronics domains

Experience with designing for embedded & IoT devices/systems

Proficiency in 2D design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, Axure, or similar


Proficiency in 3D modeling and texturing tools such as 3DSMax, Blender3D, Maya, Substance Painter, or similar


Proficiency in 3D prototyping or rendering tools such as Unity3D, UnrealEngine, or similar

Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Android, etc. ) is a plus

Experience with Agile development processes is preferred

Strong proficiency in English
