Job Description :

Requirements :

- Manage a group of highly motivated DevOps engineers and systems administrators

- Participate in the agile ceremonies and interface with the agile team(s) and other program staff as required

- Work with application teams to help them adopt continuous build, inspection, testing and deployment

- Participate in all aspects of DevOps Engineering and promote industry standard methodologies in DevOps Engineering

- Help to configure DevOps stack with regards to performance monitoring, analytics, and audit-ability

- Design and build a new code production pipeline

- Developing 'Idealized' automated CI/CD processes, and working with teams to implement those processes in latest DevOps technology stack

- Provide deployment and occasional off hours support

- Analyze existing standards to identify gaps and remedies.

- Evaluate gaps in related to DevOps best practices

- Develop and maintain installation, configuration and operations procedures

- Develop Junit tests to support code coverage as part of the CI / CD pipeline

- Share best practices with a focus on re-use of application code

- Work with the Development, project/product management organizations to align projects, releases, patches, and other efforts

- Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines).

- Adapt DevSecOps methodology for security best- practice.

- Design, implement, and execute Backup and Recovery and Business Continuity processes and automate the same

- Monitor environments for security vulnerabilities and take actions to remediate and/or mitigate risks

- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis

- Monitor applications and services within the environment, take actions to resolve issues and implement strategies to prevent future occurrences

- Monitor AWS maintenance and outages, assess impact, and develop strategies to minimize impact

- Create and follow up on AWS support tickets.

- Write and maintain clear, concise documentation, runbooks and operational standards including infrastructure diagrams, deployment diagrams etc.

- Good- communication skills and ability to work with global teams to define and deliver on projects Intellectual curiosity, passion for technology and keeping up with new trends.

Technical Skills Required :

- Strong AWS experience especially in the following services (VPC, EC2, IAM, Roles CloudFormation, S3, RDS, Route53, Security, Kubernetes)

- Strong Linux & Windows experience with networking & security experience

- Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes cluster deployments.

- Strong background in Devops related practices such as CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and infrastructure as code

- Experience with the following development and Devops related tools: Git, GitHub/Gitlab pipelines, Jenkins, Bitbucket

- Experience with monitoring tools, such as Prometheus Grafana, Nagios

- Expertise in Amazon / GCP / Azure cloud technologies.

- Scripting experience especially in bash, powershell, groovy and python

- Strong knowledge and understanding of CI/CD processes and tools(Jenkins, CircleCI, ArgoCD, Azure Devops).

- Prior experience using automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates/bicep, Ansible, HashiCorp vault).

- Knowledge of Docker containers and related orchestration including AWS EKS and ECS.

- Familiar with the fundamentals of web application and relational database architectures.

- Understanding of agile and other development processes and methodologies.

- Understanding of immutable infrastructure and infrastructure as code concepts.

- Good- to have exposure of information security practices.
