Job Overview:

This role offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient legal spend management, streamline billing processes, and support cost-effective legal operations across multiple BHI brands through a shared service model.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review invoices to ensure compliance with the billing guidelines and collaborate with internal stakeholders, including attorneys and legal teams, to address billing discrepancies and resolve invoicing issues.

- Submitting invoices to Account Payable.

- Deliver advanced metrics on spend, quality, and performance. Based on these metrics conduct analysis on billing data to identify spend management and process improvement opportunities.

- Onboard and manage relationships with external law firms and vendors, ensuring proper billing practices.

- Serve as the main point of contact for Legal Tracker for internal and external stakeholders. Assist in resolving invoicing and payment issues. Troubleshoot issues, raise support tickets with Legal Tracker.

- Maintain and update playbooks and other procedural documentation. Conduct Legal Tracker training and perform other related tasks as needed.

Knowledge and Skills:

- Legal Spend analysis, legal bill auditor or legal bill review experience as well as exposure in e-billing

- Knowledge of e-billing tools (e.g.Legal Tracker, Passport, SimpleLegal, Counsel Link, Onit, etc.)

- Experience with leading e-Billing, Contract Management, and eSignature tools(e.g. Docusign etc.) is preferred

- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with a degree in Law

- Strong attention to detailsStrong written and oral communication skills

- A high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information, as well as the ability to work well with people at all levels inside and outside the company, are essential.

- Prior experience working with law firms or within legal department is preferred

- Ability to exercise strong judgement and be proactive in solving problems that affect customers. Strong customer service orientation.
