Job Description
- Operate and monitor VMC machine to produce task according to specifications
- Perform regular maintenance and trouble shooting on machine
- Load raw materials onto the machine table and secure them using appropriate fixtures.
- Load and unload cutting tools into/from the tool magazine.
- Start and monitor machining operations, adjusting parameters as needed.
- Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Make adjustments to the machine settings to optimize machining processes.
- Document production activities, including recording machine settings, tool changes, and inspection results.
- Collaborate with other team members, such as programmers/designer, to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to safety and quality standards
Skills & Qualification required
What you bring to the table
- Can prioritize the work and coordinate with others.
- Self-motivated and can work with little supervision.
- Able to solve problems and determine a course of action.
- Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 to 2 years as VMC operator, CNC operator or similar role
