Role Overview:
- The Finance Controller will lead the entire Finance and Accounting (F&A) team, overseeing all financial operations across Boldfit's marketplaces, D2C website, and warehouses.
- This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strategic oversight.
- Additionally, the Finance Controller will manage relationships with external Big 4 agencies, auditors, and legal entities to ensure all financial obligations are efficiently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Finance and Accounting team, ensuring seamless operations across all business channels (marketplaces, website, warehouses, etc.
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, providing strategic insights to drive business performance.
- Establish and maintain strong financial controls, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with external Big 4 agencies for audits, tax compliance, and financial advisory services.
- Manage relationships with legal entities and ensure compliance with all corporate and financial regulations.
- Prepare and present financial statements, monthly/quarterly reports, and performance analyses to the leadership team.
- Optimize cash flow, working capital, and profitability by implementing effective financial strategies.
- Coordinate financial audits, managing relationships with auditors and financial institutions.
- Oversee tax planning, filings, and financial compliance with relevant authorities.
- Implement financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and cost control.
- Lead the development and implementation of financial systems and ERP tools to streamline operations.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
- Experience working at a Big 4 firm, followed by a role in finance at a retail company or similar industry.
- Proven track record of managing finance teams and overseeing complex financial operations.
- Experience working with external auditors and legal entities, with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, tax laws, and auditing processes.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software (ERP systems, Excel, etc.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
