We re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer II to join our Growth Venture Team. This role is located in Pune, Maharashtra - HYBRID.

Growth Ventures is the Bank s division for managing and building data and software-led businesses, including our market-leading data and analytics business with nearly $50 trillion in financial assets under data management. Growth Ventures, building on this foundation and in partnership with other businesses including Investment Management, Asset Servicing, and Pershing, is bringing to market a new software-led, API-first solution for the alternative investment and wealth management ecosystems. The new business will leverage, connect and enhance existing strengths while also developing market-first solutions that provide a one-of-a-kind experience for partners and clients. The market being targeted is measured in trillions of dollars with revenue pools in billions, yet it is generally considered a nascent space on the precipice of growth. And while we are building from a robust foundation and position of strength, this is very much an entrepreneurial opportunity to innovate and create new products, new solutions, and a new business.

In this role, you ll make an impact in the following ways:

We are looking for an engineering leader to join a newly created global team and build a team in Pune to work on a highly innovative, disruptive, and greenfield digital solution. This senior role reports to the platform s global engineering lead and is accountable for building and leading the engineering team to deliver high quality software.

The role encompasses:

• Design and implement scalable client-side and server-side architecture
• Participate pair-programming, and provide technical leadership to motivate and guide team members
• Lead technical discussions and provide technical oversight (including code reviews) to the development work from the team
• Foster a culture of learning, innovating, and continuous improvement
• Promote best engineering practices to deliver software via rapid iterations and frequent releases
• Work with product managers and UX designers to provide feedback to product roadmap, requirements, and UX designs
• Actively participate in daily stand-up meetings and other Agile ceremonies
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure timely delivery across all the systems at the program level
• Coach and mentor junior engineers

Qualification

• Bachelor s degree in computer science or related discipline
• 10+ years of full stack technical experience building enterprise SaaS solutions
• 3+ years of Python/Java/Spring Boot development experience, including microservices and even-driven architecture implementation
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks
• 2+ years of test automation development using Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, or similar. Experience with Test-Driven-Development is preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in modelling with NoSQL database
• Experience in Agile methodologies, either Sprint or Kanban
• Hands-on experience with release management and CICD deployment workflow processes, from development release through production deployment
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies - K8S, Azure/AWS, etc.
• Strong technical and communication skills required
• Knowledge and experience in financial services or fintech is preferred
