Associate, Fund/Client Accounting Representative ||

We re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Fund/Client Accounting Representative || to join our Structured Products UIT Reconciliation team. This role is in Chennai, Tamil Nadu - HYBRID.

In this role, you ll make an impact in the following ways:

Serves as a team member for the day-to-day operations of a small- to medium-sized fund accounting support team, process/review work allocated on daily basis.
Performs day-to-day Reconciliation for UIT structured product funds, Setup new funds on TLM, Overdraft for UIT Funds, Monthly reports for Options & NIB
Process data and assists in resolving escalated problems that may arise during the normal daily, weekly or monthly accounting and reporting. Tracks data and maintains accounting records for funds of higher complexity in accordance with department policies and procedures.
Regularly works with client to exchange information with respect to cash, accounting, and reporting of daily and monthly client activities and initiatives. Communicates data needs and answers client questions.
Assists in identifying and implementing process improvements to reduce audit and financial exposure and improve team efficiency. No direct reports. Supports the achievement of team objectives.
Understand and execute continuous improvement model(s) to achieve operational excellence
Create and maintain associated procedures.
Primarily responsible for the accuracy and quality of own work and the work of assigned and/or other team members. Work contributes to the achievement of area goals

To be successful in this role, we re seeking the following:

Bachelor s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and 6-8 years of total work experience preferred. Experience in accounting support must
Candidate must possess the skills as knowledge of Basic Fund accounting, Reconciliation including research and validation of complex breaks.
Knowledge of TLM application is Preferable.
The successful candidate needs to be enthusiastic, attentive to detail, flexible and have the drive to be successful while working in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work under time pressure.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer literate.
Strong communication both written & verbal, and time management skills.
Focused on consistently achieving both team and company goals
Clerical skills with particular focus on accuracy, attention to detail, organization and keyboard skills.
Ability to learn quickly and take responsibility for own learning and development.
Focused attitude to work, excellent individual and team player and an ability to consistently meet deadlines.
Have experience of attending to internal and external, SOC1 and ISO Audits.
Continuous improvement mindset.
