Job Description
The Senior SAP Business Analyst is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for SAP implementations and enhancements. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing SAP Fiori solutions, and bridging the gap between business stakeholders and the technical development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP functional modules, particularly in Sales & Distribution (SD), Finance, and Logistics, as well as expertise in SAP Fiori and user experience design. Experience in working with Agile methodologies and proficiency in using Jira and Confluence are also highly desirable.
What should you bring along
- Bachelors degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a SAP Business Analyst or Functional Consultant
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP SD, Finance, and Logistics modules
- Strong understanding of SAP Fiori design principles, guidelines, and user experience best practices
- Proficiency in translating business requirements into functional specifications and design
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with both business and technical teams
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment, including Agile teams
- Problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Strong documentation and process improvement skills
- Experience in working with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Proficiency in using Jira for project management and Confluence for documentation
Must have technical skill
- Experience in developing Fiori applications using SAP Fiori Elements and SAP Fiori tools
- Familiarity with ABAP programming and custom development
- Understanding of OData services and integration techniques
- Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform and SAP Web IDE
- Certifications in SAP Fiori, SAP SD, SAP Finance, SAP Logistics, or Agile methodologies
Good to have Technical skills
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across various departments
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and design SAP Fiori solutions
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure the designed solutions meet the business needs
- Provide guidance and support on the integration of Fiori apps with SAP backend systems
- Conduct user acceptance testing and validation of the developed Fiori applications
- Identify and recommend process improvements and optimization opportunities
- Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide functional support for the implemented solutions
- Stay up to date with the latest SAP Fiori and user experience design trends and best practices
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the Agile delivery process
- Utilize Jira for project management, issue tracking, and workflow management
- Maintain documentation and knowledge sharing in Confluence
