Role: MDM Senior Developer/Lead
Designation: Senior / Lead Data Engineer
Experience: > 4 yrs.
Work Location: Hyderabad, Telangana
Qualification: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
Brief description about the role:
The Master Data Management (MDM) Developer will be responsible for applying MDM strategies, requirements and policies aligned to the company s vision, and supporting an MDM implementation on Informatica platform technologies. The candidate should be able to design and develop the information architecture for a robust MDM platform that matches and consolidates key data subject areas in a manner that is aligned to the company s strategic vision.
Key Roles Responsibilities:
Develop and implement MDM strategy in collaboration with stakeholders.
Lead and manage MDM projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that project goals and objectives are met within budget and on time.
Manage and lead the MDM team, including hiring, training, and coaching team members.
Ensure the quality of master data, including establishing data quality standards, conducting data profiling and analysis, and implementing data cleansing and enrichment processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, data owners, and IT teams, to understand their data requirements and ensure that master data meets their needs.
Establish and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
Communicate MDM initiatives and progress to stakeholders and senior management.
Continuously evaluate and improve MDM processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Willingness to pick up new technologies and develop POCs and MVPs for demonstrations.
Skills
4+ years of experience in MDM, data management, or related field using Informatica s suite of MDM products and solutions.
2+ years of experience managing MDM projects.
Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data management best practices
Good experience in Unix shell scripting and Python.
Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and their applications.
Strong data analysis skills. Proficient in writing complex and efficient SQL queries and tuning them for performance when required.
Exposure to and conceptual understanding of data integration tools and technologies such as Informatica PowerCenter and RDBMS concepts.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
Experience with data analytics and data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView, is a plus
Experience with data privacy and security regulations, such as GDPR or CCPA, is a plus
Hands-on expertise required with Informatica tools and utilities such as Data Controls, Data Director and Data Quality preferably.
Familiarity with iterative development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
