Job Description
Compliance
- Stay updated on employment laws and best practices in India to ensure compliance and mitigate organizational risk.
- Work closely with HR team members to align employee relations strategies with overall HR objectives.
- Prepare reports and documentation for internal audits and compliance reviews.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and workplace issues.
- Develop and conduct training sessions on employee relations topics, including conflict management, workplace ethics, and compliance.
- Support managers in effectively handling employee relations issues and fostering a positive work environment.
Policy Development and Implementation
- Assist in the formulation, dissemination, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures in compliance with Indian labor regulations.
- Ensure that policies are communicated effectively and understood by all employees.
Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs)
- Ensure that PIPs are documented clearly, outlining performance expectations, timelines, and support available to employees.
- Monitor progress throughout the PIP duration, providing feedback and support to both employees and managers.
- Facilitate discussions between BYonder Care team and legal team to ensure clear communication of expectations and outcomes.
Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC)
- Serve as a key member of the Grievance Redressal Committee, participating in meetings to address employee grievances.
- Ensure that grievance procedures are followed, and grievances are addressed promptly and fairly.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee grievances and provide actionable recommendations.
- Document grievances and resolutions, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with organizational policies.
- Communicate outcomes of grievance investigations to relevant parties and advise on necessary follow-up actions.
- Analyze grievance data to identify trends and recommend improvements to policies or practices.
Handling Conflicts of Interest:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to identify and manage conflicts of interest within the organization.
- Provide guidance to employees and management on recognizing potential conflicts of interest and appropriate disclosure practices.
- Conduct investigations into reported conflicts of interest, ensuring a fair and impartial review process.
- Recommend actions to mitigate conflicts of interest, including potential reassignment of duties or responsibilities.
- Maintain documentation of conflicts of interest cases and resolutions to ensure compliance with internal policies.
Restructuring Support:
- Collaborate with leadership during organizational restructuring initiatives, providing insights on employee impact and potential concerns.
- Support the design and implementation of restructuring plans, including workforce reductions, role changes, and redeployment strategies.
