Devops Engineer

We are looking for a 2-3 years experienced DevOps Engineer who combines an understanding of both engineering and coding, who s ready to help us improve our customer experience by building functional systems that brings our business to new heights. As a DevOps Engineer, you ll also be working in conjunction with like-minded departments such as software engineering to deploy new products and manage our infrastructure, associated processes, and systems. You ll also be helping us to streamline our processes and automating them where applicable.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them.

Assist other department engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrating them to other members of the team.

Release, Change, and Deployment management activities by automating and maintaining a CI/CD pipeline.

Automate our operational processes as needed, with accuracy and in compliance with our security requirements.

Actively troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and production, catching and solving issues before launch.

Work closely with engineering professionals within the company to maintain hardware and software needed for projects to be completed efficiently.

Manage day to day cloud operation tasks and work on tickets assigned.

Work effectively in a globally distributed team structure.

Technical Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related fields or relevant DevOps Experience.

Strong background in Linux/Unix System Administration.

Solid programming skills and experience with or an ability to quickly become proficient in Python, SQL, and JavaScript.

Experience with Source Code Management tools (Git) and an understanding of branching and integration processes.

Experience working with AWS and other cloud providers.

Experience working with automation/configuration management tools like Ansible and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform. Strong knowledge of container systems such as Kubernetes Docker.

Admin experience with continuous integration tools like Travis CI.
