Content Writer

We are looking to hire a dedicated content writer to join our content marketing team and enrich our website and social media with engaging, compelling content.

Content Writer responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication.

[The role will initially start as a freelance role which will then transition into a full time role based on your performance.]

Responsibilities

Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.

Developing content such as blogs, articles, emails, whitepaper, infographics, videos, social media, and the company website.

Assisting the marketing team in developing content for advertising campaigns.

Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.

Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website.

Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.

Identifying customers needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the companys current content.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in communications, marketing, english, journalism, or related field.

Min 2 years of proven content writing or copywriting experience

Past experience in journalism a plus

Ability to create different types of long- and short-form content

Working knowledge of content management systems.

Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.

A portfolio of published articles.

Excellent writing and editing skills.

The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.

Effective communication skills.

Experience creating engaging videos on Instagram Reels Or on YouTube a plus

Working knowledge of video editing software a plus
