About the Role :

We are currently looking for an experienced PI Engineer to join a dynamic and growing team at one of our Esteem client.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, and maintaining PI System solutions, including PI Asset Framework and PI Interfaces.

Key Responsibilities :

- Work extensively with the AVEVA PI suite of products including PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework, PI Interfaces (OPC DA, PI to PI, RDBMS, Perfmon), PI Vision, PI ProcessBook, PI Datalink, and PI Builder.

- Configure and manage interfaces between PI Servers to ensure seamless data integration.

- Lead efforts in upgrading PI applications (PI Data Archive, PI Interfaces, PI Connectors, PI Relay, PI Vision).

- Develop and implement Asset Framework hierarchies and best practices for data management.

- Design and configure PI analyses, notifications, and alert mechanisms.

- Create visualizations and graphical displays using PI Vision and PI ProcessBook for better operational insights.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data flow and system integration issues to ensure smooth system operations.

- Automation expertise : Leverage OOP programming (C#, Python, or Java) to automate processes and develop custom solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 3 to 7 years of experience in PI System, PI Development, and PI Asset Framework.

- Strong proficiency in the AVEVA PI suite (PI Data Archive, PI Vision, PI Interfaces, etc.

- In-depth experience with industrial protocols such as OPC UA.

- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) expertise in languages like C#, Python, or Java.

- Proven ability to create and configure PI analyses, notifications, and alerts.

- Hands-on experience with PI Vision and PI ProcessBook for data visualization.

- Strong troubleshooting skills, with an ability to resolve complex data flow and system integration challenges.
